Eventually try to claim as much as your faction can, get your friends with you, as proper resource management and care while traversing the stars won't leave you stranded.

Start from the ground up having to craft everything you will need as the entery level to the galactic market is a few scale levels away from your reach.

Mine until you can craft and produce what you need to make a faction and claim 2 systems outright.
​
Start your conquest by claiming free stations on the map, be careful, they do reset when unloaded!
​
Eventually save up enough to spawn a station and start participating in galactic trade and relations!
The number and amount of npc object in all regard is low, war with them should be relatively easy! Use this to gain an advantage by getting pirate-free space! Or free resources by pirating! The pirate ships are available blueprints from the start, or use your own!

- dont expect to not get pestered, healthy pvp is encouraged

-the scarcety of processed resources and the harshness of starting over might discourage others from risking a lot.

-feel free to ask others for help but remember they did so!
​
-wars take a while, allow your opponent a few days, or even weeks, or recover if you have taken around half their land, let them maybe mount their counteroffensive, have battles! Schedule something to claim that rich system rightfully!
